^Lot 949 Remington Rolling Block NVSN

Carbine. Rolling Block Action. 20.5" barrel. 37" overall. Correct Saddle ring. Caliber unknown, muzzle measures .438 . Bore is good with strong rifling. Falling block, and hammer lock up tight. Remington markings on tang are worn , illegible. Had sling swivels, Front missing. The wood at one time was covered with tacks, now removed. Stock, and forearm have numerous tack holes, and circular indentations. The forearm has a wood insert in what appears to be a cleaning rod channel. Metal has turned a spotted plum color, with surface rust. NRA Condition-Fair. Antique Firearm.
